Steering Committee

The Steering Committee monitors and steers the overall progress of the TOPPS project. It meets every six months and is composed of:

- a chairman,
- the project manager,
- the cluster co-ordinators (SOUTH, EAST, NORDIC and MIDWEST cluster),
- the Technical Support Unit (TSU)
  and
- representatives from the main donors: the European Commission under the Life- programme and ECPA

Two extra "subcommittees" are established in two key areas:

- the TOPPS financial committee,
- the TOPPS communication committee

Each has dedicated objectives towards the dissemination of the project outcomes and sound economic management respectively.
